Landon Pembelton to Make Super Late Model Debut At Dominion
R&S Race Cars, Landon Pembelton, and Jeff Craig Racing Join Forces for ASA Stars National Tour Race
CLUSTER SPRINGS, Va - (Mar. 26, 2025) Landon Pembelton will make his super late model debut in the ASA Stars National Tour at Dominion Raceway on April 5th. In alliance with Jeff Craig Racing, R&S Race Cars will field Pembelton’s entry in the 250 lap race.
Landon Pembelton, the Amelia, VA resident, currently competes for R&S Race Cars in a late model stock car at South Boston Speedway, with other races at Dominion Raceway and in the CARS Tour on his 2025 schedule. Among many accomplishments throughout his career, Pembelton earned NASCAR’s Southeast Region Rookie of The Year award and the prestigious ValleyStar Credit Union 300 in 2021. “I’m really looking forward to this race,” said Landon Pembelton, the 2024 Dominion Raceway track champion. “It’s going to be like nothing I have ever driven before, but it will be a super fun experience. I’m looking forward to learning a lot and making the most of this opportunity at a home track for me.”
Marcus Richmond, co-owner of R&S Race Cars, has many notable accomplishments in super late model racing including winning the Snowball Derby and Winchester 400 with Noah Gragson, and more. Richmond looks to continue that success into Pembelton’s debut. “Landon is a very talented driver and we have had a great experience together in our late model program so far this year,” Richmond stated. “It is very exciting to be a part of Landon’s debut. I have worked with the Craig family for a long time and have built a great relationship, so I am very thankful that they are coming on board to make this happen.”
The Appalachian Sucker Punch 250 will be broadcasted live on tracktv.com at 7:30 PM EST, and later re-aired on MAVTV on Monday, April 14th.
